Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information is collected when you visit finluency.com (the "site") or join the Finluency early access list, and how it is used. The site is operated by 4-means, which operates Finluency ("we," "us").

Information we collect

Email address, if you join the early access list

If you submit your email address through the "Request Early Access" form, we collect that address so we can send you updates about Finluency. The address is stored in Mailchimp, our email service provider. Mailchimp sends you a confirmation email, and you are only added to the list after you confirm. We do not ask for any other personal information through the form.

Site usage information

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. It uses cookies (typically named_ga and _ga_*) to distinguish visitors. Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses.

We also record a small number of events about the early access form: that the form was viewed, that a submission was attempted, and whether it succeeded or failed. These records include the campaign tags in the page address, if any (such as utm_source). They do not include your email address or any other information that identifies you.

Technical information

Our hosting and network provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The site also loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests that font file from Google.

How we use information

• To send you updates about Finluency, if you joined the early access list.
• To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
• To keep the site secure and working.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed for the purposes above: Mailchimp (email list), Google (analytics and fonts), and Cloudflare (hosting, networking, and site event records). These providers handle information under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies and your choices

Google Analytics cookies can be blocked in your browser settings, and Google provides a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics across sites. If you block these cookies the site still works. To stop receiving emails, use the unsubscribe link in any message we send.

How long we keep information

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Google Analytics event-level data is kept for 2 months, and user-level data (such as the identifiers stored in cookies) for 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically. Aggregated reports are not affected.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
